Cooled by prevailing trade winds, The Inn lies nestled in the gentle rolling hills along the southern coast of Antigua's Dockyard National Park. Set in 10 acres of wooded headland with its own white sand beach, the hotel overlooks the entrance to the historic English Harbour that Lord Horatio Nelson took as a strategic location to base England's West Indies fleet there. Today, Antigua is still called 'The heart of the Caribbean' and enjoys direct airline service from major North American and European cities as well as flights to and from most of the other islands.
There are few locations in the Caribbean where one is afforded as serene and comfortable a vantage point to relax while having afternoon tea or perhaps a rum punch or two. The traditional Stone Bar and Terrace Restaurant provide a perfect setting for dinner by candlelight beneath the tropical night sky. The cuisine is excellent; the wine list extensive; and, with attention to quality service, The Inn has gained a reputation as one of the finest restaurants in Antigua.
You can be as active as you wish, or of course you can simply spend your day relaxing in the sun, swimming and snorkeling. Lunch is served in casual friendly style right on the beach in the waterfront restaurant. |
