This estancia is situated in the "Partido de Lobos", 120 km from the city of Buenos Aires. Without doubt, one of the charms of Santa Rita is its history, which goes back to the times of the Virreinato. The estancia originally covered 16.000 hectares in frontier land.

The main house was built in 1790 by the Ezcurra family, then owners of the estancia, and extended in stages until approximately 1840. In 1890, the estancia was acquired by the provincial senator Antonio Carboni, founder of the small village of the same name located 4 km from the estancia. Santa Rita remained in the Carboni family until 1988.

An intimate and cozy atmosphere is created by the living rooms with their fireplaces and reading corners, from which guests can enjoy an impressive view of the park.

Santa Rita offers a wide variety of activities. You can enjoy horse-back riding and rides in sulky guided by Ricardo, enjoy the swimming pool in the summer months and discharge energy in the courts of pelota vasca.

Various activities are carried out at the estancia, namely raising of cattle, sheep, horses, pigs and the growing of wheat, maze and soybean.

Another appeal of Santa Rita is to contemplate the wide variety of wild birds and the llamas that stroll around the park. A 40-hectare woods, planted 150 years ago, with avenues of eucalyptus, casuarinas and ombú trees give a luxuriant frame to the main house.

Farther from the main house, the cañada offers the possibility of unforgettable horse-back riding. It is a meeting place for an ample variety of birds where the wind blows without restrictions.
