The Landing is a gracious, historic property dating back to 1800. This boutique hotel overlooks the harbour in the heart of Dunmore Town, an easy five minute stroll to the powder fine, pink sand beach. It´s seven newly renovated rooms are designed in a classic plantation style with colonial inspired Caribbean influences. Guests can refresh themselves at the bar and dine in the hotel´s world-class restaurant, which features a contemporary menu based on seafood and fresh local produce expertly prepared by Chef Jenny Learmonth.

The Landing offers twelve guest rooms, including a honeymoon suite under the eaves that overlooks the garden and the harbour. Our rooms are designed and inspired by India Hicks in a classic plantation style.
Rooms have mahogany stained, four poster beds with crisp white Ralph Lauren linens, and are draped in Indian cotton. The waxed hardwood floors are overlaid with sea-grass matting and decorated with a meticulous attention to detail.
All rooms have private baths and air conditioners and feature wireless internet connection. Some also have ceiling fans and verandahs, most have harbour views. All rooms are non-smoking. A pool has recently been added for the enjoyment of The Landing's guests.

How to get here:
The island is accessible by air from Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, and Nassau, with daily direct flights to North Eleuthera Airport. Water taxis leave continuously for Dunmore Town, a 10-minute trip across the harbour. Bahamas Fast Ferries go directly from Nassau to Harbour Island also.

Booking and cancellation policy

Policies, prices, package deals, taxes, and exchange rates may change and should be confirmed with the hotel at booking.

Rates are based on double occupancy, include full breakfast, are subject to 10% gratuity and 10% hotel tax, are subject to change without notice.
Deposit: A 3-night non-refundable deposit is required to confirm all reservations. Stays of less than 3 nights will require full payment at the time of booking. Visa or Mastercard information needed but do not send credit card information by email.
Cancellations: a 6-week written cancellation policy without penalty (8 weeks for bookings over Christmas/Spring Break/Easter). Reservations cancelled within that period are refundable, less a $85 booking fee. Cancellations made outside that time period will forfeit the the 3-night deposit.

Extra people: Rooms are designed for a maximum of 2 people. Hibiscus is the only exception, accommodating a maximum of 4 people only.
No rollaway or additional guest beds for any rooms.
One child under 10 years of age is permitted to share a bed with parents.
$50 per extra person over the age of 16 sharing room. $30 per child age 3 to 16 sharing room.
