All twenty-three rooms have air conditioning, ceiling fans, kitchenette (microwave only), iron & ironing board, hairdryer, clock radio and telephone (with data port).
The Cottage: offers a luxury haven for two. Classic Caribbean mahogany decor with a queen size four-poster bed, living area, cable TV, kitchenette, bathroom with outside stone shower and garden veranda with table, chairs and lounger.
Plantation House Suites:
Designed to reflect the charm of traditional Caribbean architecture, with fine stone work, breezy porches and lacy gingerbread trim. Plantation House is just a few steps from the beach and contains a pair of two-bedroom air-conditioned suites with elegant tropical decor and magnificent views.
With an open plan layout, each master suite has a king size bed, large bathroom with double sinks, a living room area with sofa and chairs, cable TV and kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator. The adjacent bedroom can be adapted to a king or twin bed and has a large bathroom, sitting area, refrigerator and coffee maker.
These flexible accommodations offer guests of the Sugar Mill many new choices. The upper level suite has a flat entrance with no steps which makes it an excellent choice for those who find steps or hills difficult. Each 2 bedroom suite is approximately 1,100 square feet.
The Pool Suites: are designed with a breakfast bar kitchenette, sitting area with sofa (which can pullout for a queen sized sleeper) and cable TV. The bedroom can be king or twin bedded with double sink basins featuring an outside stone faced shower. The balcony has been expanded with ceiling fan and patio furniture.
The Deluxe Studios: can either be king or twin bedded with private bathroom, wetbar kitchenette and balconies with ocean & garden views. No TV's.
Deluxe Villa: two bedroomed villa. Each bedroom is air conditioned and has an en suite bathroom. The living area has a full kitchen, cable T.V., video and large balcony offering stunning views of the ocean and neighboring islands, with a private terrace at the rear of the property.

Children: They are not able to accept children under 11 years old from December 21 to April 14. Children under 11 years old stay for free from April 15 to December 20.
Getting there: they recommend arriving into St. Thomas prior to 3 pm, as the last ferry from St. Thomas to West End, Tortola, leaves at approximately 4:30 PM. From the airport, just get into a taxi and ask the driver to take you to the next ferry to West End, Tortola. They are usually familiar with the ferry schedules and will take you to the closest dock, Charlotte Amalie or Red Hook. You also can browse www.bviwelcome.com and check the ferry schedules. Ferry tickets CANNOT be purchased in advance. Airport shuttle service is subject to a fare payable to taxi drivers.
Activities: A full concierge service is happy to assist in organizing daytime excursions such as windsurfing lessons, diving, day sails or spa treatments.
Dining: The Sugar Mill Restaurant is renowned for its romantic atmosphere & culinary delights. The May 2004 Caribbean Travel & Life Reader's Poll voted the Sugar Mill Restaurant 'One of the Four Best Restaurants in the Caribbean.'
Enjoy the spectacular sunsets in the tranquil ambiance of the tree-shaded alfresco gazebo terrace. The main Dining Room has been restored from the ruins of a 370-year old sugar mill, where dinner is served by candlelight with a menu that changes nightly.
Breakfast is served on the terrace from 8am -10am, listen to the sounds of the sea and look out to Jost Van Dyke. 'Islands' Beach Restaurant serves lunch daily from 12 Noon - 2 pm. There is a natural reef, which provides interesting views for snorkelers.

Booking and cancellation policy
The given rates are daily, European Plan. MAP add $85.00 daily per person plus 10% service. (MAP should be arranged in advance and must be taken for the entire stay).
Service charge of 10% will be added plus 7% Government tax.
Currency is the U.S. dollar. Rates are subject to change and correction at any time without prior notice.
DOCUMENTS: A passport is required for entry into the BVI (US Citizens can use a notarized birth certificate).
DEPOSITS: Three (3) night minimum stay from December 21- April 14. Minimum seven (7) night stay for Christmas - New Year period. Deposit represents the first and last two nights of the reserved stay. The three night deposit is payable at the time of making a reservation. We accept Visa, MasterCard or American Express. Deposits are refundable only if canceled 30 days prior to arrival. Notice of 60 days required on Christmas and New Years reservations.
For Group/Special Occasion Reservations, the Sugar Mill has a minimum 60 day prior to arrival cancellation policy in order to issue a full refund on the room deposit.

NOT INCLUDED: Meals are not included (unless otherwise specified), hotel service charges in lieu of gratuities, government taxes and airport departure tax, airport transfers, local room taxes, laundry, beverages and other personal items.
CONDITIONS: Sugar Mill, the tour operator and cooperating agents, hereby give notice in providing tickets and coupons and all other services offered herein that all arrangements for services, transportation and accommodation are made by them upon the express condition that they shall not be liable or responsible in any way in connection with such means of transportation or other services or for any loss, injury or damage to or in respect to of any person or property however caused or arising. Said transportation or hotel services are subject to the local laws of the city state where provided.
