Montanus is a boutique hotel in the heart of Bruges situated in the 1200 m2 quiet inner gardens which provide an oasis of calm for every guest. The hotel is unique as it is the only hotel in the centre of Bruges with a private inner garden, creating a true haven from the bustling city. Bruges was declared to be the cultural heritage centre of the world by UNESCO, and its main attractions are within walking distance from the hotel.

The beautifully renovated 19th Century mansion and the home of former mayor Franck van Acker, is chic yet comfortable, offering incomparable service. The intimate hotel has 24 rooms, making it ideal for small conferences, meetings, seminars and workshops with the meeting room overlooking the gardens. The wealth produced by the city throughout medieval times is evident in its superb architecture. This blend of tradition, modern know-how and attention to service will fulfil client expectations. All of the rooms have been individually designed and feature an array of modern amenities, the Honeymoon suite is a real temptation for romantic couples, while the Luxury rooms and Junior suites are fitted with all conveniences. The Senior suites are decorated with stucco-work of the 18th Century and modern furniture created by top designers.

It is conveniently located a short walk from the medieval centre of Bruges, with its delightful market square and historic buildings. The hotel is able to organise themed events so that guests can experience the historic culture of Bruges, with gastronomic meals and a horse-driven carriage ride along the narrow, cobbled streets while taking in the charming scenery. Montanus Hotel provides its guests with breakfast and for groups, the hotel will arrange superb in-house catering.
