Description: Torre del Remei

Shaded by sequoyas and nestling in the Pyrenees amidst an 8-acre forest near the Cadi National park, this magnificent summer palace has been transformed into an elegant boutique hotel.

It was inaugurated in 1910 and from the start was inhabited by 10 women, including servants. When the Spanish civil war broke out, the house was confiscated and used as a school then a hospital, though the structure never changed.

In Febuary 1989 the new owners purchased it and began the renovations to turn it into the exclusive hotel that it is today.
