Dining: The chef uses only the best local products to prepare oriental and international dishes. The pastries are all home-made and include fresh baguettes, croissants and irresistible scones, cookies and tarts. If you have any special dietary requirements please let them know in advance.

The Shai Lounge, located in the old Qa'a or reception hall, with its 9-meter high decorated ceilings, invites you to unwind with a hot cup of fresh Damascene herbal tea or strong Arabic coffee.
La Veranda is the roof terrace, a lush dining and relaxation spot with a splendid view of Damascus Old City and Qassioun Mountain.
The Mooneh Restaurant, located in the old vaulted mooneh or cellar, offers an intimate, romantic setting to enjoy a delicious meal in the winter.

Children: The traditional architecture is possibly dangerous for young children and the interiors, having been designed for a luxurious private home, are rather expensive to replace. Children are therefore welcomed on the simple understanding that parents accept full responsibility for their safety and any damage they may cause.

Booking and cancellation policy

Reservations: all reservations requested should be supported with written paperwork, and confirmation will be sent back by e-mail.

Cancellation:
- 4 rooms or more: cancellations will be accepted 30 days prior to arrival, otherwise one night for each reserved room will be charged accordingly.
- Less than 4 rooms: cancellations will be accepted 15 days prior to arrival, otherwise one night for each reserved room will be charged accordingly.

Deposit: the hotel may request a 50 per cent deposit during the high season to secure the confirmed reservation (from March to May, September to November and also religious holidays).

No-Show: in the case of a no-show, one night wil be charged at the contracted rate, and the hotel will hold the confirmed reservation until 6:00 am on the following day of the arrival date.

Check-in & Check-out time:
Check-in time is 14:00, and in case of an early check-in, the room will be charged for one night prior to the arrival date.
Check-out time is 12:00. In case of a late check-out (until 18:00), 50 per cent of the room's rate will be applied. After 18:00, a full night will be charged accordingly.Children Policy: children under twelve can be accommodated in their parents' room at no extra charge. A maximum of one child and two adults are allowed per room.
