This hotel converted from a traditional manor house has always been lived in, and thus family life has influenced the structure of the property. The last alteration, to convert the house into a hotel completely respected the original building. The structure of the building is as follows: Main House, The Hunt, The Gallery.

The property is surrounded by an old stone wall, and comprises 40,000 square metres of garden and groves, with two impressive raised granaries, a keep, a dovecot and chapel. Within this extensive area there are ideal spots for relaxed conversation, reading or walking. There are centuries-old trees of impressive varieties such as the chestnut tree in the plot in front of the dovecot.

There are 6 rooms in La Galeria: Room 5: Doña Inés Mariño de Lobeira y Salnés (1616- 1681), Room 6: Doña María Antonia Boceta de Caamaño y Castro (1640-1707), Room 7: Doña María Teresa de Novoa y Somoza (1670-1704), Room 8: Doña Juana Sarmiento y Toubes (1780-1815), Room 9: Doña Guadalupe de la Cerda y Pedroso López (1846-1881), Room 10: Doña Andrea Josefa Verea Fariña (1679-1750).
