Thorncroft Inn is a romantic, secluded, first class, exclusively couples oriented, fourteen room country inn situated in three restored buildings on 3½ acres of landscaped treed grounds, one block from the ocean in an area of summer estates on the Island of Martha's Vineyard.

The inn is a first class property, having received a Four Diamond Award from the American Automobile Association for 13 consecutive years and specializes in honeymoons, anniversaries, engagements, birthdays, elopements or any romantic getaway for which Martha's Vineyard Island is the ideal setting.

Most of the inn's bedrooms have working, wood burning fireplaces that are set up by staff on a daily basis. Most rooms also have canopied beds; some have furnished balconies, private exterior entrances with private porches, two person whirlpools or private, in room, 300 gallon hot tubs.

For absolute privacy, there is even a stunning private cottage complete with its own garage, two person whirlpool, fireplace and large covered porch with two person hammock.

Nearby activities include golf, tennis, swimming (both beach and pool), restaurants, shopping, horse back riding, boating, fishing and hiking. Bicycle storage available in garage. The concierge service is renowned and experienced staff provide inside information and assistance on every conceivable aspect of your vacation.

All room prices include full country breakfast in the dining room or breakfast in bed, afternoon tea and pastries, evening turndown service and the New York Times at your door every morning.
All rooms are air conditioned and have phone, color cable TV, VCR, hair dryers, irons, full sized ironing boards and deluxe, custom made bathrobes.

Children: The inn is not appropriate for children. Thorncroft Inn is a honeymoon, anniversary and romantic getaway destination for couples.
Maximum occupancy for each room is two people, even if the third person is a child. All rooms have one bed per room and there are no cots or rollaway beds.
