Explore: The whole area is a very important archaeological site and is part of the UNESCO World Heritage. Discover interesting architectural, cultural and natural places. Drive the winding country coastal roads and see the late Baroque Scicli and Modica, set on a wide plateau through amazing canyons; the scenic Marzamemi harbour, with its main piazza height. Dip into the past; the wild and pure nature of Cava Grande Natural Reserve and the little lakes of Cava Cultrera in S. Corrado di Fuori valley. Visit the archaeological area of Eloro and the mosaics of Villa Del Tellaro; the Oasi Faunistica of Vendicari and its amazing beaches and a stop-over for many migratory birds such as herons, wading birds, flamingos and cormorants.

Discover: There was once another Noto. Ancient writings refer to it as Netum and a few parts of the walls and ruins of the old gateway and castle are visible. Now lost in a lush nature and marked here and there by more ruins, you can walk though ancient streets, through the 'Porta Aurea' once crowded with busy people. Recently, excavations brought to light curious and interesting details, such as several stone engravings. Mount Alveria is full of historic and archaeological relics from different eras: Sicilian necropolis, but also Hellenistic, Pre-Christian, Jewish, Byzantine, Arabian, Norman, Renaissance and Baroque ruins.
