Thorngrove Manor was recently described as one of the world's outstanding properties and is a winner of many international awards. This is no ordinary hotel. The baroque turrets and fantasy towers are a clue to the flamboyant, highly imaginative interiors that have been individually designed and furnished with great ingenuity. Antiques and hand-crafted decor transform the suites into an escapist's dream. The Queen's and King's Chambers feature rare antique stained glass windows and intricate golden stencilled artwork. The two levels of the Castle Chambers are connected by a stone spiral staircase. The attention to detail is meticulous; the service personal, the soul of discretion. Every modern facility has been discreetly woven into this romantic wonderland. Privacy is absolute, you may never see the other guests. The dining and comfort levels surpass all five star ratings. Situated in a specified country living zone with green leafy lanes, an abundance of native bird life and fresh country air the area boasts English style gardens and architecture.

6 suites. All guest areas are highly individual and romantic, suites are distinguished by their individual character ranging from traditional flamboyant jewel colours to rooms of theatrical opulance. In addition all suites take advantage of the garden or tree top views.

All rooms have LCD HDTV with integrated DVD radio, mini-bar, idd phone, wireless internet and coffee/tea making facilities, fridge, crystal glasses, bottle openers etc, croquet, Boule and board games in all suites, premium Crabtree & Evelyn imported toiletries and local South Australian Greenleaf cold pressed organic vegetable soaps, pure wool, goose down, Egyptian cotton and mohair bedding available.

In addition there is Butler and room service. The hotel offers a roof terrace, sun deck, cd/library services and daily maid service. A full array of business facilities are also on offer (contact hotel). On site spa facilities with full range of treatments. Transfers from airport: aprox 70 AUD.

Local activities and attractions include visiting Adelaide City, wineries, wildlife parks, riding, Barossa Valley, Kangaroo island, museums and galleries, Murray River cruises can be arranged. Personalised chauffeur driven transfers with or without tour commentry from the airport, day tours personally tailor-made to guests interests can be arranged with local guides from $90 per hour, self drive hire arrangements can also be made and are delivered to the door at Thorngrove from around $70 per day.

Children under 6 years old allowed to stay in his/her parents' room using existing bedding. Children under 2 stay free If sharing with adults. Meals charged. Children's policy is negotiable depending on the number of children and age of children. Adjacent rooms on request. Cribs/Cots available and single beds up to size queen and king.
