The nine bungalows pay tribute to those who created a language of well-being, quality and aesthetics, well-known modernist architects and other timeless contemporaries of the fifties. Will you choose the Pierre (Pierre Jeanneret), the Charlotte (Charlotte Perriand), or will it be the Jean (Jean Prouvé)? Perhaps you prefer the Georges (Jouve), the Juliette (Derel), the Mathieu (Mategot), or the Serge (Mouille). Can you guess the last names of the Alexandre and the Fernand?

Beach chairs, snorkelling gear according to availability. Some bungalows in the Extra category can also accommodate an extra bed for a third person over 13 years old, for an additional charge.
Banane Deluxe Bungalow:
The Deluxe bungalow is more spacious than the Banane Extra category and is located in an exquisite hotel location. In addition to what the Extra category has, the Deluxe category has a
coffee machine, desk and a roof covered terrace with sofa.

Dining: Although La Banane does not have a restaurant as such, guests are served breakfast, light lunch and dinner and room service between 11:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. either in the privacy of the suite of by the hotel pool. Snacks include a club sandwich, cheese burger, grilled meats, salads, etc.
Dinner: 3 course dinner available through their restaurant partner. You may wish to dine in the privacy of your room or partake an intimate candlelight dinner with your loved one. Just let them know what you would like and the table on your own private terrace will be set for your fullest enjoyment.
Bar: The bar, a great place to sample the cocktail selection, is open from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. daily.
Try the house cocktail, La Banane, made from fresh banana and melon liquor. With low sugar alcohol content, it is a sweet and fruity drink. Enjoy the musical evening once a week in high season.
Fitness and well-being:
Beauty treatments and massages are available in the privacy of your room. Certified therapists will come with all their equipment. Facials, body treatments, manicure and hand care, pedicure and foot care, and hairdressers are also available.

Passports: It is the responsibility of all foreign nationals to find out about Visa requirements to be allowed in the Overseas Department of Saint Barthélemy prior to departure. La Banane cannot be penalized if guests are not permitted through customs. American citizens are required to hold a valid passport in order to enter Saint Barthélemy.
Children: no children under the age of 13 on the premises.

Travel Insurance: is strongly advised to cover accident, illness, baggage, third party liability and cancellations. All costs, prices, and policies, including exchange rates, package deals, and cancellation policy may change and should be confirmed with the hotel upon booking.
BOOKINGS & DEPOSITS:
Deposit: A 3 night deposit for each week booked is required upon reservation, charged to credit card Visa, MasterCard or American Express
Deposit will secure the first night as well as the last two nights of your stay.
Booking & Deposit for Festive Season from December 17th to January 07th:
An advance deposit of 50% of total booking amount to confirm reservation, the remaining balance 60 calendar days prior to the arrival date.
If the deposit or the remaining balance is unpaid in due time, they may consider it a cancellation by the client and charge cancellation fees.
Please note: the hotel does not accept credit card for advance payment at this period of the year and requires a wire transfer to secure your booking.
Group Reservations & Exclusive Use: In case of an exclusive use reservation or group reservation (3 rooms and more) different terms and conditions shall apply due to respective planning necessities.
CANCELLATIONS
Cancellation or changes in reservation dates should be transmitting in writing to LA BANANE.
The hotel will immediately acknowledge by email the receipt of the cancellation and will apply the penalties as per cancellation policy.
Without this written response from the hotel acknowledging the cancellation request, the deposit will be non-refundable.
Cancellation Fees:
If the client cancels the reservation, a cancellation fee is charged:
Cancellation more than 30 days prior to scheduled arrival: 10% of deposit amount
Cancellation from 30 to 21 days: 25% of total stay is due
Cancellation from 20 to 08 days: 50% of total stay is due
Cancellation from 07 to 02 days: 75% of total stay is due
Cancellation less than 02 days: 100% of total stay is due
For no show and anticipated departure: 100% of stay as confirmed is due
Cancellations for Festive Season from December 17th to January 07th:
More than 60 days to arrival: no cancellation fee
60 days or less than 60 days to arrival: Total booking price charged.
For no show and early departure: full stay as reserved charged.
In case of an exclusive use reservation or group reservation (3 rooms and more) different terms and conditions shall apply due to respective planning necessities.
Please Note: for the Christmas and New Year's Eve Holidays and for group reservation, if the guest does not show on the first day of the confirmed reservation, they will consider this a cancellation and the hotel will be free to resell the room.
