The hall of Hotel Cavalieri is paved in Modica Stone of a warm yellow color, and in Pece Stone, both are typical stones of the Baroque of the Val di Noto. The two opposite colors, the light and the dark, form a distinct design, inspired by the ancient paving of Sicilian convents and churches of the 1800's. Stopping a moment in the hall, we can feel something special: the noises of the city are extinguished, feel the presence-absence of Siracusa, and softer cadences prevail.
