Chakrabongse Villas is a boutique hotel consisting of three private apartments set in the luxuriant gardens of Chakrabongse House on the banks of Chao Phraya River in the heart of Old Bangkok. In this peaceful oasis, visitors to Chakrabongse Villas can escape from the hustle and bustle of modern Bangkok and still be within walking distance of Bangkok's premier tourist attractions such as the Grand Palace, Wat Phra Kaew, Wat Pho, the Temple of Dawn, the temple of the Reclining Buddha and the National Museum.

Chakrabongse Villas, was originally known as Chakrabongse House which was built in 1908 by HRH Prince Chakrabongse. Originally used for royal ceremonies in the Grand Palace and for picnics and excursions on the river, Chakrabongse House later became the residence of Prince Chula Chakrabongse, historian and writer. Today Chakrabongse Villas is lovingly maintained as a boutique hotel by his daughter, Narisa.

The graceful, Thai-style buildings designed by Dulpichai Komolvanich, that have accommodated special guests over the years, are now open to the public as Chakrabongse Villas. This is not your typical boutique hotel: there is no restaurant, no bellhop and no concierge. All services are made to measure and provided as requested by the guests.
