Park Hotel Holzner, Trentino Alto Adigio

The Parkhotel Holzner in Oberbozen on the Ritten was opened in 1908. Originally under the name of Hotel Oberbozen, the Holzner family owned this hotel and still does.

Dining: The gourmet restaurant at the Parkhotel Holzner was awarded with 1 Gault Millau toque and 14 points in 2007. Enjoy South Tyrolean traditional dishes, light gourmet dishes, and light and tasty Italian plates with delicious wines from their cellar. The restaurant is closed on Mondays.
Holzner's Vinotheque enriches your holidays with vintage wines from South Tyrol and Italy from their wine cellar. Red and white wines as well as dessert wines and sparkling wines from wineries of South Tyrol as Lageder, Muri Gries, St. Michael/Eppan and Schulthauser. The Parkhotel can also offer a champagne from France for your special events.
Breakfast in the Art Nouveau Bar at the Parkhotel Holzner on the Ritten begins by sipping hot coffee and tasting homemade cakes.

Entertainment: They also offer various programs at the bar ranging from Irish folk over Piano nights to flamenco rhythms.

Area Activities: You can visit many things during your holidays on the Ritten. Starting from the 100 years old train of Ritten (1907-2007) that is still in use, to the unique Earth Pyramids of Ritten. You can go for trekking on the Rittner Horn and for all friends of animals there is also a Lama trekking. You can reach the capital of South Tyrol Bozen in just 12 minutes by cable car and visit the world known Oetzi, the oldest mummy of the world from the ice. In the old town of Bozen you may visit the unique arcades of the Lauben and during Christmas time you can enjoy the Christmas Market.
The easiest was to discover South Tyrol during your stay, is by buying the Mobil-Card which allows you to take the buses of South Tyrol and the Vinschger train with discount. You can buy your Mobil-Card at the reception of the Parkhotel Holzner or at the Tourist Information Centre in Oberbozen.

Shuttle service: Cost-free service to/from the main train station in Bozen at pre-arranged times (train usually arrives at 5:30 pm and leaves at 10:30 am).
Holiday shuttle bus Munich-Bozen every Saturday on request and charged separately.
Other shuttle services will be charged according to the taxi driver's fares.

Pets: small animals are charged per day, food not included. Large dogs may be accepted by prior arrangement.
