The monastery is sited in an idyllic spot, on a natural terrace between the Monsalud mountain and the Extremaduran meadows with views of a uniquely beautiful landscape dotted with oaks.

In the restoration of the building, the ancient ancillary buildings have been transformed into thirty comfortable double rooms (four Suites) within the existing structures. So, one can stay in what was once the kitchen, the music room, the library or one of the cells where the monks used to live. It's not just the architecture that is impressive but also the careful decoration which is quite original.

Rocamador´s restaurant is luxurious and its chefs know how to capture the very essence of Extremadura.
