Description: Seven One Seven

The magnificent facade of the house, a listed historical building with dark green shutters, merely provides a hint of there beauty of the interior. The front opens to an old marble hallway, from which an oak stairway leads to two splendid grand suites overlooking the 17th century Prinsengracht canal in front of the house, and to six spacious suites and rooms at the back overlooking two patios. The patios have been handsomely fitted with tables and comfortable armchairs where one can enjoy breakfast, afternoon tea of drinks at leisure under the lush foliage of an old maple tree.

All suites and rooms are equipped with: DVD set, hifi-stereo set with radio and compact disc player, ISDN wiring for direct dial telephones and computers, handmade antique style brass bedsteads, high quality English box spring mattresses (twin), blankets woven especially for Seven One Seven, 100 % cotton sheets, shams, pillow cases, bath and hand towels, refreshment cabinet, safe deposit box, and stationary.

All bathrooms are private and feature: full-length bath with shower (except Frans Liszt), separate shower (except Room at the Top), separate toilet, hair dryer and shaver outlet (220 volts, 50 cycles), bathrobes and slippers.
