Huis 't Schaep is a small luxury Private Guesthouse - a combination of a small boutique hotel and the personal touch of a guesthouse. Located in one 16th century and one 17th century building, joined together around 1850 in neogothic style, Huis 't Schaep Bruges is in the historic city centre of Bruges, very close to the cathedral of Saint Salvator and with all the major tourist attractions, shops and restaurants on the doorstep.

The Beguine's House, The Groeninge Museum, The Belfort and The Market are all within walking distance, as is a multitude of restaurants, bars and cafe's. Bruges' main shopping street (Zuidzandstreet) can be found just around the corner from Huis 't Schaep. The big parking garage in Bruges (Parking 't Zand en Parking Zilverpand) is a two minute stroll away.

Despite its very central location, the house and garden are remarkably peaceful. The current appearance of this big stately home dates back to the 19th century when a 16th century inn was united with a 17th century residence. The interior is in keeping with the gothic revival and the whole property is now a listed building. Samuel Coucke renovated the house and crafted stained glass windows here.

The Coucke suite, 2nd floor, size approx. 45 m2: a superior suite consisting of a large bedroom with big seating area. A fourposter bed with Auping boxspring makes this room a real pleasure to sleep in, Bruges style. There is an ensuite bathroom with large walk-in shower, bath, wash basin and toilet.

The Rembrandt Suite, 1st floor: Luxurious Suite consisting of bedroom with comfortable Auping boxspring, separate seating area, executive style bathroom (double sink, bath & walk-in shower), separate toilet.

The Rubens Suite, 2nd floor , approx. 70 m2: The mahogony empire style bed in this suite is uniquely placed in an antique arc and is fitted with an Auping boxspring. There is also a very large sitting area, ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower, double sink, bath and toilet.
