At the heart of Geneva's picturesque Old Town, Hotel les Armures consists of four buildings which have been lovingly transformed into an unassuming luxury hotel, offering a genuine and discreet city hide-away. The buildings, leaning against the old boundary walls of the city have belonged successively to the Bishops of Geneva and then to the distinguished Chouet de la Rive family, who consolidated the structure in the 17th Century to an Italian style.

Today this charming hotel with 32 rooms is run personally by the Granges family, offering luxury yet unpretentious accommodation and excellent dining. Guests will sleep within walls steeped in history, close beside the adjoining St. Pierre Cathedral. It is ideally located to discover the treasures of the Old town, and it is also within five minutes walk from the shopping district and the lakefront promenade.

Guestrooms are all air conditioned, lavishly furnished, provided with marble baths and thick bathrobes while fitted with the latest technology such as modem connections, Wireless and satellite TV. Two very quiet rooms go onto a tiny inner courtyard while others overlook the pedestrian Rue du Perron cobbled street and some even boast a lake view or a view over the rooftops of the old town.
