Cotton Tree is the only luxury boutique cottage hotel in the Cayman Islands. Ideal for family vacationers or couples seeking a romantic getaway, Cotton Tree is a Grand Cayman Islands luxury boutique hotel. Situated on over 400 feet of beachfront property, Cotton Tree is just steps from the Caribbean Sea on the northernmost point of Grand Cayman's West Bay and only ten minutes from the famed Seven Mile Beach.

Independently owned and operated by Heather Lockington, Cotton Tree is a collection of four cottages amidst a lush garden setting of tropical flowers and fruit trees. Enjoy spacious cottages with two bedrooms, two baths, and full-size kitchens. Premium hotel amenities include freshwater pool, fitness center, open-air spa, and complimentary high-speed wireless Internet access.

Cotton Tree is your vacation home, a private luxury hideaway to completely unwind with the rhythmic sounds of the sea. Take a dip in the freshwater pool, workout in the fitness center, enjoy yoga or indulge in a relaxing spa treatment in the open air pavilions nestled among the trees. Experience activities such as biking to Barker's National Park, bird-watching, art and culinary classes, as well as the Cayman's world-famous water sports.

Cotton Tree is a collection of four pastel-hued, plantation-style beachfront cottages, ensuring privacy and intimacy. Each cottage has been carefully designed and detailed to ensure you have everything you will ever need and most everything you could want.

All cottages feature: a Master bedroom with a king size bed, walk-in closest and en-suite master bath with large Jacuzzi tub and rainforest shower as well as a second bedroom (guest bedroom) with either a queen size bed or two twin beds, closet and en-suite bathroom. There is a living and dining area, kitchen and private veranda, high ceilings and large windows with panoramic views of the ocean and lush tropical garden, central air-conditioning, ceiling fans and screens.

There are full size Kitchen Aid appliances including refrigerator, stove and oven, microwave, dishwasher, and toaster. Each two-bedroom cottage measures 1,600 square feet. Cottages are pre-stocked with regular and decaffeinated coffee, bottled water, tea, milk, sugar, orange juice and assorted cereals. These items are replenished daily as required. Sommelier selected wines from around the world, beers, spirits (additional price).

Free WIFI, Wii, iPod docking station, DVD player, and three 42" flat screen TVs, high tech security system. Jacuzzi tub, spa shower, bathrobes and full size Elemis bath products. 600 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets, hair dryer, in room safe, walk in closet, iron and ironing board. Bicycles, flip flops. Washer/dryer; dry cleaning available. No pets, no smoking.

Thatch Cottage: 4 people maximum. Guest bedroom features a queen bed and en-suite bath.

Sea Grape Cottage: 4 people maximum. Guest bedroom features two twin beds, which can be converted to one queen bed.

Cocoplum Cottage: 4 people maximum. Guest bedroom features a queen bed

Almond Cottage: 6 people maximum. Guest bedroom features two twin beds, which can be converted to one queen bed. Queen sleeper sofa that can easily accommodate two adults.

Services and amenities which are included in the daily rate include: airport transfers, bellhop, reception & concierge desk, housekeeping, nightly turndown on request, selection of local and international newspapers, media library of books, music and DVDs, welcome amenity, WIFI and local calls, flip flops and sunscreen, fresh flowers, bicycles, gift upon departure, and parking.

Dining: Each cottage is fitted with full sized Kitchen Aid appliances, granite counter tops high-end cutlery and cooking utensils, a French press coffee maker. Cottage is pre-stocked with regular and decaffeinated coffee, bottled water, tea, milk, sugar, orange juice and assorted cereals. These items are replenished daily as required. A personal chef can make gourmet meals accompanied by wines selected by a sommelier. There are also plenty of restaurants a short drive away.

Wellness: a full range of world class spa treatments in the secluded spa pavilion and outside shower nestled among the sea grape trees just a few feet away from the Caribbean Sea. Alternatively, treatments can be carried out in the privacy of your cottage, either on the vernada or indoors. A full range of beauty treatments are also available at Grand Cayman's Spa Platinum location. 24 hours advance notice is required. Appointments cancelled with less than a 24-hour notice will be charged in full.

Gym: air conditioned gym is equipped with state-of-the-art LifeFitness cardio equipment including elliptical machines, treadmills, multi gym station and free weights. Towels and water are provided in the gym and personal training can be arranged.

Swimming: swimming pool on site and a fascinating natural beach in walking distance.

Golf: The nearby Britannia Golf Club, the Caribbean's first signature Jack Nicklaus Golf course combines three courses in one: a nine hole championship regulation with an 18-hole par 57 executive course built in.

Upon Request: The experienced concierge team is pleased to arrange car hire on property, spa appointments, dinner reservations, grocery shopping, personal chef services, dry cleaning, on-site art and cooking classes, babysitting and child care, visits to local attractions, island tours, horseback riding, and virtually anything else!

Business Services: en-suite printer, laptop on request (depending on availability), free wi-fi and local calls, IT support on call, and a meeting facility nearby.

Privacy: The cottages are arranged in such a way, with their Oceanside / poolside location and landscaping, that you have your privacy.

Location: 10 minute drive from Seven Mile Beach and 20 minutes away from the center of George Town.

Getting around: A rental car is ideal to visit wonderful restaurants and the center of the action. Cotton Tree management can arrange taxi service and car rentals.

There is no smoking permitted in the cottages and outside around the pool area and sea grape trees.

Cotton Tree is closed in September every year.

All prices are exclusive of 10% government tax which applies to all rates other than resident rates and premier options.

Booking and cancellation charges:
Deposit Payment of 50% of cost of the accommodation by credit card, cash or wire transfer.
Unconditional reservation more than 45 days prior to scheduled arrival. Credit card payment to be confirmed by signed authorization in accordance with these terms:

Cancellation more than 45 days prior to scheduled arrival:
complete refund of deposit LESS a US$100 administration charge AND a penalty of
1 night accommodation per cottage booked for bookings of 1-7 nights,
2 nights accommodation per cottage booked for bookings of 8-14 nights,
3 nights accommodation per cottage booked for bookings of 15 nights or more.

Cancellation 45 days prior to scheduled arrival:
Payment of balance of accommodation cost by credit card, cash or wire transfer.

Cancellation 45 days or less prior to scheduled arrival:
No refund of deposit. 75% of the cost of the accommodation booked will be allowed as a credit against a future booking to be used within 12 months of the cancellation.

Upon arrival: Guest to provide credit card guarantee and signed authorization in accordance with these terms if not already provided.
Upon departure: Payment for services and other incidentals in accordance with these terms.
Check-in time is 2:00 p.m. and checkout time is noon.
Tax: All prices are exclusive of 10% government tax which applies to all rates other than resident rates and premier options.
Tips: Cotton Tree does not apply gratuities to bills and leaves this option open to its guests. However, if guests feel that exceptional service has been received and would like to tip, it is suggested that this be done at the end of the stay.
