But this is the Hotel Lucrezia and through those cattle shed gates is an experience of rural Sardinia with added luxury that exceeds expectations.

The Hotel Lucrezia is located in a traditional farmhouse in the village of Riola Sardo, on the west coast of Sardinia. Farmhouses were constructed around a central courtyard where the well, grain wheel, bread oven, oil mill and millstone were all situated. Many of these original features are still in place at the Hotel Lucrezia, alongside beautifully landscaped gardens.

The Hotel Lucrezia is a unique boutique hotel run by a family that make guests feel so genuinely welcome they leave with the impression they've been staying in the home of a lovely long-lost grandmother.
