Torre Coccaro is a "masseria" dating back to the 16th century. Built not far from the sea and surrounded by ancient olive trees, almond trees and carobs, and once a stronghold against the Turks, it has now become a five star resort whose aim is to take guests back to a traditional life close to nature so they can benefit in full from the simple pleasures of rural life.
The courtyard features a chapel from 1730 where the people of Savelletri, a fishermen's village nearby, walked to worship the patron saints, before reaching the "tufara", the quarry where the tuffs (volcanic rock) used to build the farm were cut. This quarry has now become the farm's vegetable garden along an ancient pergola overlooking the ingenious irrigation system.
Enjoy the exclusive lounge on the private sandy beach, a quiet and refined place to lap up the sun on beach mattresses, and sample the bar services and snacks. Try the boutique massages and don't miss the fish restaurant - sushi and oyster bar. All rooms have a bathtub, antique furniture, and a small table and two armchairs for breakfast.
Classic Superior rooms are located in the farmyard, are larger and benefit from a better location compared with classic rooms.
Junior Suite:
Some are located in the ancient farmyard and are fitted with a stone fireplace; others are in the ancient XVI century tower and are marked by typical barrel vaults and a balcony overlooking the sea and the olive groves; the remaining Jr. Suites are located in the ancient tuff (stone) houses and are fitted with elegant sofas and beautiful vaults.
Junior Suite Deluxe:
3 Junior Suites Deluxe are located in the tower, one has a living room and a big stone fireplace and TV corner; the other two rooms have Jacuzzi. These suites overlook the surrounding countryside, the big olive trees and the sea. Another Jr. Suite Deluxe was carved into a wonderful ancient cave and is equipped with a fireplace and a private garden.
Orange Garden Suite:
The greatest comfort with a private pool and a whirlpool bath inside a 200 sq. mt. orange grove, located in an ancient 100 sq. mt. cave, enjoy a big whirlpool bath for 2 people, and for cold nights, a large and romantic stone fireplace.

Egnathia Restaurant: under the star-shaped vaults of the ancient cowsheds, try the traditional and refined cuisine, the typical Apulian flavours. Vegetables are grown organically and are full of flavor so the chefs can express their Mediterranean creativeness.
