Xaloc Resort is a small eco-tourism hotel, located on a white sandy beach on the paradise island of Holbox. The hotel is built combining the rustic style of local regional architecture based on palapas or palm leaf roofs with a warm and cozy design, excellent facilities and fine details.
The hotel is managed by the owners, Goncha and Juan Fe, a Spanish couple from Mallorca. They and their team will make sure that your experience in Xaloc will be unforgettably beautiful.
In the restaurant Maja´che their chef will delight your tastebuds with exquisite Mexican and Yucatecan dishes. Holbox is traditionally a fishing village, so the fish and lobster menus are most exquisite and without a doubt, fresh from the sea.

Each of the 18 rooms is a 7 meter high bungalow or an individual round 'palapa', with a wooden terrace and traditional Yucatecan hammocks and a circular roof made out palm leaves. In each room there is a king-size bed or 2 double beds, covered by a big mosquito canopy, ceiling fan and a spacious bathroom with two sinks, shower and water toilet. There are 2 groups of 9 rooms; each group is built around a swimming pool.
The Standard Rooms: are 9 bungalows built around a lagoon-style swimming pool. Here children are welcome and can enjoy the swimming pool and the games.
9 Superior Category Rooms (7 Superior Rooms & 2 Suites): These rooms are only for adults, no children under 12 years old in this category. Ideal for those who want a little more peace and quiet. Each room has its own charm mixing artistic touches with elegant taste and natural delicacy. All feature air-conditioning and a porch with a beautiful table and a comfortable large deck chair. Exclusive, private and quiet, these rooms share a solarium in the uppermost part which was designed for relaxation and wellness.
7 Superior Rooms: are on the top floor. 3 have a king size bed and 4 have 2 double beds.
Suite Xaloc & Suite Holbox: Each suite is on the ground floor and features two rooms, one with a king size bed and the other a beautiful living room with two sofas which can be converted into individual beds. Perfect for 1- 4 people.

For the nature lovers what better spot is there than Holbox, here you can observe different species of birds such as herons, pelicans, flamingos, spoon bills.
Excursions include boat trips, kayak through the mangroves, crocodile tours at night, swimming with whale sharks or walk along the virgin beach at night to watch marine turtle laying eggs.
Also they have fishing tours, snorkelling and the newest craze of Kite-Surfing.
Children: No children under 12 years old in the Beach Bungalows and Garden Bungalows. Children are welcome in the Pool Bungalows and Superior Rooms.
Maximum capacity is 2 adults and 2 children per room. The third and fourth person have an extra charge unless they are under 2 years old.

A 50% of the total amount is required to guarantee the reservation.
Cancellation policy: These conditions will apply no matter the reasons of cancellation. Please read them with attention.
Cancellation penalities for cancellations received with:
more than 25 days before date of arrival: 35% of the total amount of the stay.
25 days before date of arrival: 50% of the total amount of the stay.
15 days before day of arrival: 80% of the total amount of the stay.
Anticipated departure: 80% for each cancelled night. For no show on the booked date: 100% of the first night / 80% of the rest of the stay.
In case of not beeing possible to make effective a reservation because of reasons like bad weather or hurricane risk the payment will not be refundable, but nevertheless able to use for future dates.
Transfer Cancun - Xaloc Resort per person, one-way. You can request special rates for groups. Price includes: Ground transportation with a.c. Boat from Chiquila to Holbox, Taxi to the hotel.
Extra person 27 USD, Children 0-2: free, 2-12: 17 USD. Half board & Full board per person, per day.
