The Villa Margherita Hotel was built as the residence for a noble family during the 15th century and has been transformed into a sophisticated country inn by the talented Dal Corso family. With a perfect location just 20 minutes from Venice, the former Contarini villa has remained completely intact just as it was four centuries ago. Lying on a bend in the river and surrounded by an ample garden and orchard, it faces onto one of the most beautiful and best preserved tracts of the Rivera de Brenta.

Subtle atmospheres and mythical presences pervade the elegant interior. Decorated by mirrors and stucco decorations, there are frescoes on the walls and the furniture is made of briarwood and other valuable woods. The flickering light from the open fireplace creates a pleasant atmosphere for reading, conversation and the subtle pleasures of life.

There is a neigbouring restaurant of the same name, and its warm and welcoming dining halls are a meeting place for a gastronomic culture based on essential rules: respect for tradition, attention to quality and the exclusive use of fresh fish coming daily from the Adriatic ports. The dishes are designed with utmost care, using recipes that have been perfected over time.
