La Castelluccia was built on the remains of a roman villa over the period straddling the 12th and 13th Centuries. With its eight hundred years of history, this splendid fortified edifice at the gates of ancient Rome was completely restored to its ancient splendor and converted into a hotel.

From the roof garden there are views over the Roman landscape. The large dining room and restaurant offer the best of Italian and traditional dishes, even medieval banquets.

The hotel has 2 Junior Suites, 2 Cottage Suites, 1 Suite and The Tower Suite in addition to 17 twin/double rooms.

Twin Deluxe rooms contain 2 separate beds whereas the doubles have a king sized bed. The bedrooms have a palatial quality with all the luxuries of our age.
All rooms are different and furnished with antiques, costly marbles and terracotta floors. Most of rooms have frescoes on the walls.
The suite in the tower is splendidly furnished and has open fires and frescoed walls.
