La Dauphine Estate offers exclusive accommodation located in an old cocoa plantation and is situated in the hills four miles from the picturesque, colonial town of Soufriere, once the old French capital of St. Lucia. This 75-acre family plantation produces bananas, cocoa, coconuts, citrus fruits, flowers, nutmeg and a variety of flowers and vegetables. La Dauphine Estate is only minutes away from a dining, shopping and entertainment centre, where you'll find a multiplex cinema and numerous restaurants.

La Dauphine Great House and Chateau Laffitte are two estate houses nestled on green hillsides surrounded by beautiful gardens. Originally built by colonial governor Gabriel Laffitte, La Dauphine Great House features decorative gingerbread fretwork, jalousie windows and wooden shutters. The house has been refurbished to combine old colonial charm with all modern conveniences. Both La Dauphine Estate residences are fully equipped for a self-catering holiday. However, restaurant services for breakfast and dinner are available on request.

La Dauphine Estate provides a full housekeeping service and staff will help organise tours of the plantation and local mountains.

Chateau Laffitte: Features two bedrooms: the master bedroom has a queen-size bed and the second bedroom has two single beds. There is one full bathroom separate from the bedrooms, a large living room, a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen and a small porch. Occupancy: 1/2 persons or 3/4 persons.
La Dauphine Great House: Features four bedrooms: the master bedroom has a four poster queen-size bed, the second bedroom has two single beds, the third bedroom has one double bed and the attic bedroom has four single beds with a half bathroom. The attic bedroom is not suitable for small children. There is one full and two half bathrooms, one outdoor shower, a large living room, a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen and a large wrap-around verandah on three sides. Occupancy: 1/2 persons, 3/4 persons or 5/6 Persons.
