Description: Al Sole

The building was originally built during the XVIth century. The house has been completely restored in 1996, when the hotel was opened. The façade of the hotel is exactly the same as in the past. Entering the hotel, a few steps past the front desk, you will notice the door of an ancient cave painted with frescos that was found during the restoration; this Grotta is entitled to "Bacco", who is lightly visible among the few images left as testimony of an ancient past. A particular mention goes to the historic room of the famous theatre actress Eleonora Duse, who used to stay at this hotel during her visits to Asolo (1918/1920).
