Le Grand Hôtel des Bains, Locquirec

Bordering on the Finistère and the Côtes d'Armor regions, located in a dream setting lies the little Locquirec peninsula port. Ideally situated between the superb Côte de Granit Rose and the Côte Sauvage, the hotel is tucked away from the crowds, noise and pollution. Dating back to the end of the 19th Century it was the setting for the film shot by Michel Lang twenty years ago, entitled "L'Hotel de la Plage".

The hotel was built in one of the best preserved seafaring parts of Brittany and has been entirely renovated, but maintains the timeless charm typical of old holiday houses.

Thirty-six rooms with polished floor boards and light grey and honey coloured panelling, are available. All with largely unimpeded views of the bay and bathed in morning sunlight. Being south-east facing the rooms are protected from the strong winds coming from the west.

In the large dining room characterised by large bay windows with a view overlooking the park and the sea, you may enjoy healthy cuisine made from seafood and organic vegetables.
