Description: Pousada Tauma

Located at Calangute, less than a km away from the beach, its greatest attraction is the Ayurveda Centre designed to tone up your body, mind and soul. It is the only Boutique Hotel which is built on the lines of a natural, traditional architecture concept using exposed masonry. Eco-friendly and with the minimum use of resources, it uses Goa laterite stones liberally, hence the glow it emits is distinctly Goan.

The twittering of birds and a variety of flora and fauna enhance this other-world charm that makes your stay a tryst with nature and a solace for the soul. The pool is the focal point - soothing and refreshing and the sound of running water is an elixir which gives the 12 all Suite Boutique Hotel a tranquility that is beguilingly addictive.

12 airconditioned suites comprise of 3 Standard suites, 7 Superior suites and 2 Deluxe suite. Each suite has a theme. It also has its own private dining area, bedroom with a dressing table, wardrobe and a patio with a private, detached garden or terrace.

Beach: Complimentary shuttle service provided to the beach. They are not located on the beach ,but have their own beach front property 2 km away from the hotel. Pousada is one of the few hotels with a clear beach front. There is a free shuttle service to the beach and back . Pousada by the Beach has deck area with sun beds,shower,changing rooms and a day Bar and Restaurant

The hotel is 15 km from the nearest railway station. Transfers to the hotel are not provided for but could be arranged.

There are direct flights from major Indian cities, U.K., Germany, Holland, Switzerland and Scandinavia.

Booking and cancellation policy

Extra Bed for an extra person in the suite: 80 + tax.

Booking for peak period i.e. Christmas and New Year, minimum stay of 7 days.
Christmas Eve and New Year Eve Dinner not Compulsory.

DEPOSIT REQUIRED: all reservations will be processed only after receiving a deposit which is not refundable in case of no shows and cancellations.

The above rates are on per night basis for two persons.
