| Room facilities and services include: mini bar, movie channels, TV, phone, air conditioning, safe deposit box, hair dryer, slippers, bath amenities, towels for the pool. Suites feature bathrobes, room service (meals), DVDs, Jacuzzi baths, and fireplaces. Most rooms are used as doubles, even the suites. There are no single rooms but Classic Doubles can be used as single rooms with a 20% discount off the double rate. All Superiors and Suites can accomodate a third person. For families of four, ask for the Tower House or a Superior with that capacity of beds. Hotel facilities and services include: swimming pool, sitting room, playroom, small museum, and restaurant. Excursions, boat trips, and horseback riding can be arranged upon request. Traveller's magazine listed this property as "one of the top five chic destinations in Greece". There are a lot of steps and no elevator so this property is not appropriate for the handicapped. Dining: award winning restaurant and Greek chef, Giannis Baxevanis. His devotion to creative Greek cuisine, together with the unique atmosphere and historic character of the dining area, delights guests and visitors to the restaurant. Special Events: The hotel can host small conferences and meetings up to 50 people. It is very popular for weddings due to its fantastic location and can host up to 150 people seated. Location: The nearest airport is Kalamata but most guests prefer Athens for the frequency of flights. There is easy access to the sea and swimming in front of the hotel. Other pebbled beaches are located 10-15 minutes from the village and a sandy beach would be about a 20 minute drive. Pets may be accepted by prior arrangement. |
