This small village, just ten minutes from Santorini Island's main town, Fira, has been built 200 metres above the Aegean Sea on the cliffs of Santorini's famous caldera. Santorini Island, Greece, is actually the collapsed crater of a once active volcano rising up through azure blue waters; it is frequently considered one of the most beautiful and romantic places in the world! On The Rocks Hotel has been built, obviously, on the rocks of the caldera and uses the traditional whitewashed architecture of the Cyclades Islands to create a beautiful relaxing environment entirely in keeping with the hotel's surroundings.
