The Manor House, which was built by the infamous Lord Brownlowe, still retains its original grandeur with high ceilings and a front porch surrounded by beautiful gardens. The new building has three Oceanfront rooms, including one suite, all with private ocean view verandahs and two ocean view duplex suites. MANOR HOUSE: Pink Room - Large oceanfront room with queen-size mahogany four-poster bed, den with convertible sofa and ocean view verandah. Green Room - Large oceanfront room with king-size bed, den with convertible sofa and ocean view verandah. Upstairs Room - Large room with kinq-size bed, and ocean view. Julie's Room - Located upstairs, with kinq-size bed and garden view. A/C Room Located on the main floor with queen-size bed, a/c and garden view. NEW COTTAGE: Cottage #1 Queen size bed with ocean view wrap around verandah. Cottage #2 King size bed with ocean view wrap around verandah. | Dining: The open-air restaurant is situated on beautiful palm tree shaded La Sagesse beach. Whether enjoying the view of La Sagesse Bay or the surrounding tropical gardens, it offers guests an intimate and romantic setting while dining. The chef, Cecilia, has quite a following of guests who come back year after year for her wonderful cooking.
The menu features lots of fresh fish (tuna, mahi-mahi, king fish, grouper, snapper, snook, sword fish and flying fish) - depending on what the fishermen bring in. They also serve lobster, shrimp, lambi (conch) chicken, pork chops & filet mignon and offer special dishes such as seafood pasta, vegetarian lasagna, curried chicken, seared sesame tuna with wasabi and "oil down", Grenada's national dish. Vegetarian dishes are always available upon request.
They are famous for their signature beet salad dressing and chocolote mousse. The fruit smoothies and rum punch are made with fresh fruit and fruit juices. They always use fresh fruit and vegetables - nothing from a can.
Open 7 days a week including all holidays for breakfast, lunch and dinner from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Reservations for dinner requested. All rooms are located approx. 30 feet from the beach, are fully screened with ceiling fans and private bathrooms with shower and have mini-bars. Hair dryers and tea kettles, laundry & ironing service, and babysitting available upon request Daily maid service. Palm tree lined beach located on sandy bottom bay. Non-motorized water sports are available. Hiking trails on premises. Public transportation is available for airport transfers. Late night arrivals and early morning departures to and from the airport are not a problem to arrange. |
