| Booking and cancellation policy | Policies prices, taxes, exchange rates, and package deals may change and should be confirmed directly with the hotel at booking. There may be a passenger tax. Reservation policy: All reservations or changes in reservations should be made in writing. An invoice will be issued by La Banane and sent at the same time as confirmation. All invoices should be paid prior to guests' arrival at the hotel either by credit card, or by wire transfer. *VAT is included in rates. Hoteliers are now in charge of collecting a government room tax on behalf of the local collectivity. LA BANANE will therefore add the tax amount on to guests' bill upon departure without other prior notice. Tax amount (per night per bungalow on double occupancy basis) is 43 euros from Dec 20th 2008 to Jan 06th 2009; 23 euros from Jan 7th 2009 to March 31st 2009; 16 euros from April 01st to Dec 19th 2009. Please contact the hotel directly to find out the correct tax amount for other occupancy. No commission will be paid on this tax to the Tour operator. No show or departure to pre-scheduled departure date will result in a penalty for the full stay. Cancellation policy: A 3 day penalty will be charged if cancellation is made in writing and received less than 21 days prior to arrival date. Cancellation received by La Banane in writing before 21 days of arrival date will be subject to a penalty representing 10% of the amount of 3 nights (rates varie according to seasons). No show or departure to pre-scheduled departure date will result in a 3 night penalty. Warning: La Banane cancellation policy is strict. Guests are strongly advised to subscribe to a personal Travel Insurance. From Dec.20th 2008 to Jan.06th 2009: 10 night minimum stay required. Same reservation conditions as mentioned above. Full stay should be paid no later than 60 days prior to arrival. Cancellation received by La Banane in writing at the latest 60 days of arrival date will also be subject to a penalty of 445 Euros. Cancellation made in writing and received by La Banane less than 60 days prior to guests' arrival date are subject to payment for the full stay. Guests are strongly advised to subscribe to a personal insurance (example: ELVIA...) No show or departure to pre-scheduled departure date will result in a penalty for the full stay. *Additional government room tax applies per bungalow per night on the basis of a double occupancy on the above mentioned rates payable by guests at the hotel upon departure: 43 Euro. during Peak season, 23 Euro during High season & 16 Euro during Low season. CHILDREN: under 3 years: free Children 3 to 12 years: 50 Euro Extra bed 13 years and up: 70 Euro Reservations: A 3 night deposit is required upon reservation by Visa, MasterCard or American Express (deposit specifically secures the first night booked as well as the last two nights of your stay). In case of cancellation more than 21 days of arrival date: 10% of deposit amount will be charged. Reservation from 20-Dec-08 to 06-Jan-09: A 10 night minimum stay is required. A 50% deposit is required upon reservation to reserve your booking, which will be refunded if cancellation is received more than 60 days of arrival. Your stay must be paid in full 60 days prior to arrival date to be confirmed. Cancellation: Please, be aware of the cancellation policy. Personal travel insurance to protect you in case of cancellation is highly recommended. |
