The hotel has 22 rooms that where completely re-designed in beginning of 2006. Every room has plenty of space and an en suite bathroom. The rooms are on two floors with bathroom, desk and sofas on first floor and bed on second floor. All rooms have high speed wireless Internet access, flat screen TV, telephone, and a coffee machine.
GuðrÃðarstofa: A 37 square meter suite with a massage bath tub, 20" flat screen TV, adjustable beds with massage, espresso machine and stereo equipment (CD and radio). Named after the famous 16th century poet's wife.
HallgrÃmsstofa: A 46 square meter suite with a massage bath tub, 20" flat screen TV in the bedroom and a 28" TV in the living room, adjustable beds with massage, espresso machine and stereo equipment (CD and radio). Named after a famous 16th century poet that lived in the church down by the hotel.
Glymur Resort offers 6 different themed luxury cabins on location. Each of them is 70-80 sq.meters (700-800 sq.feet) with accommodation for up to 6 people, a fully equipped kitchen, wifi etc. The cabins are also an excellent choice for meetings and working sessions, brainstorming, family gathering or just more relaxing luxury.

The whole hotel is one big gallery. The owners have collected objects from all over the world both new and old. There are over 100 photographs and paintings that dress the walls of the hotel. The hotel is a great place to have exhibitions of your art be it photgraphy, paintings or sculpture.
The hotel is located within 10 km of: Golf, 4x4, fishing, historical sites, Icelandic farming museum, swimming pool, outdoor geothermal hot tubs with panaramic views over Hvalfjordur, (on-site), horseback riding, and hiking. Mountainside hot tubs with geothermal heated water are located just outside the hotel. What is more enjoyable than sitting in the hot tubs and taking in the breathtaking view? The hotel has a conference hall, several smaller group working spaces, a library and piano bar. Transfers can be arranged on request for a small fee.
Meetings: The spacious main conference room has a seating for up to 60 people and is well equipped with wireless Internet connection, projector, computer, screen, TV, flip chart, copy machine ect.
They also offer small workshop areas all over the hotel. You can have several small groups at work in the hotel.

All costs, prices, and policies, including exchange rates and package deals, may change and should be confirmed with the hotel upon booking.
If you cancel within 24 hours of your arrival they will charge half the room rate for the first night.
Rates include tax at 24.5% and breakfast buffet. Please note that the whole area in the Hotel is smoke free, and there is a 500 euro fine for breaking these rule.
