Location: Ganga Kutir, Resort and Spa, is located in the pastoral hamlet of Raichak on Ganges, right beside the mighty river. It is just over 50 kms., about 90 minutes drive, from Kolkata.
Activities: Watch time pass by in tune with the endless ripples of the Ganga, sip a flute of champagne, immersed in the crystal waters of the pool, observe the nearby swirling river. Take a cruise on-board their silken vessel, Pari. A typically rare experience for urban hands is to milk the cow at the Goushala (Cow Farm). But don't worry - the milkman is always there to guide you. Become a farmer for a few minutes and learn organic farming in the kitchen garden. As you discover the lifestyle of the locale, you can request the resident Baul (a local musician) to deliver a live performance. The Spa offers a plethora of options for rejuvenating the mind and body. Rounding off the options for your holistic journey within, there is a "bhavana madua" or meditation center, standing in serene solitude at the very edge of the river.

Booking and cancellation policy
Check-out: The official check out time is 11.00 A.M. and guests are requested to vacate the rooms within the stipulated time. Late check-out is subject to availability and prior permission from the Manager, Operations is needed at the time of checking in The management holds the right to request guests to check out and provide accommodation to new entrants.
Cancellation of a confirmed booking or any changes will be liable to retention based on the guaranteed rates of rooms per night.
Guests are requested to take care of their own belongings. The Management will not in any way whatsoever be responsible for any loss and/or damage to guests? belongings or any other property from either the apartment or locker, or any other part of the hotel for any cause whatsoever including theft or pilferage.
The Management has the sole discretion to change any or all of the above Terms & Conditions at any time without any prior notice. All disputes, differences or questions arising out of this transaction shall be settled by arbitration as per provision of Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996 and venue of such arbitration shall be at Kolkata only. In respect of the arbitration proceedings initiated pursuant to the transaction envisaged herein and in respect of all matters pertaining to this transaction only. The Civil Courts in Kolkata City shall have jurisdiction to the exclusion of all the other Courts. Notwithstanding anything stated above, Ganga Kutir shall not incur any liability to the Member, Guest or Free Individual Traveler if it is not in a position to fulfill its obligation by reason of any war, civil commotion, force majeure, act of God or any notification or order of any court of law or government or the local body (s).
