Belgravia One-bedroom Suite:
The Goring's Belgravia Suites are impeccably English in style and full of character. In the refurbishment of these opulent one-bedroom suites, British designer Russell Sage had six historic silks rewoven from The Gainsborough Silk Company. Included in the design are exquisite silks originally from the British Embassy in Paris, The Music Room at London's Lancaster House and Bute House in Edinburgh, the official residence of the First Minister of Scotland. Each of the one-bedroom Belgravia Suites has an elegant sitting room with a handsome marble fireplace and large windows out onto leafy Beeston Place which bathe the room in sunlight. The well-proportioned bedrooms are exquisitely styled with hand-made furniture in birds-eye maple, mahogany and walnut - all bespoke of course. The large marble bathrooms feature separate walk-in showers and some have flat-screen TVs. With only four Belgravia Suites at The Goring, guests are treated to a little extra luxury and exclusivity such as the services of the hotel's magnificent footmen and an in-room cocktail service come cocktail o'clock each evening. The Royal Suite - Exquisite two-bedroom suite with exceptional detail:
Unveiled in 2011, The Royal Suite at The Goring is one of the most prestigious suites in London. Commissioned by Jeremy Goring to mark the hotel's centenary celebrations, the spacious two-bedroom suite runs the length of the top floor of the hotel and each room has large French windows opening onto a large private balcony overlooking The Goring Gardens. Created by Russell Sage, the suite offers a touch of decadence, and with a large sitting room and a dining room for up to six guests with a grand piano, it is the perfect place for entertaining. The two glamorous bedrooms are furnished with exquisite antique furniture, including a magnificent four poster bed, and both have marble bathrooms. The Royal Suite, whilst feeling opulent, also has a homely quality. This welcoming atmosphere comes in part from the hand-picked antiques that can be found in the suite, including Georgian glassware and decanters. Concealed throughout is a unique collection of royal artefacts, from handwritten letters and stationery to military regalia. The most astonishing has to be a life-size portrait of Her Majesty Queen Victoria which is in the shower of the master bathroom - protected by aircraft safety glass, of course. A true homage to British history, the walls of the master bedroom are lined with the same beautiful silk that graced the First Class Dining Room of RMS Titanic 1912, whilst the silk in the bathroom is a match for that which adorns the throne room in Buckingham Palace. Guests in the Royal Suite will be treated to our welcoming, award-winning service as well as a number of personal touches such as a private decanter bar stocked to their preference, complimentary London airport transfers, fresh fruit, beautiful flowers and delicious handmade chocolates.
