Description: Hotel Orfila

The Hotel Orfila is located in an emblematic mansion built in 1886 in a calm residential area in the very centre of Madrid next to Colon Square. It became popular in the 1920's because it hosted theatre plays and performances in a theatre set in the palace basement.

The hotel was rebuilt in 1999 and provides all the comforts of a contemporary luxury hotel whilst maintaining the stylish atmosphere of the last century. The building still retains the façade, the carriage entrance and the main stairway of the original mansion.

An atmosphere of luxury and refinement is present in every corner of the hotel but especially in the Bar-Restaurant "El Jardín de Orfila" where one can enjoy delicious international cuisine accompanied by a carefully selected fine wine or drink an original cocktail in the garden of this elegant palace. "El Jardin de Orfila" is an oasis of calm and peace in this active city.
