In itself a work of art, the house is a restored mansion with a history of over 500 years. Its walls are decorated with fabulous frescoes, the rooms are furnished with antiques. History is in the air everywhere!

Only 15 minutes from Palma, just on the edge of Santa Maria village, and right in the heart of the most beautiful countryside, discover Read´s, a genuine luxury hotel, surrounded by 20,000 m2 landscaped gardens.

The restaurant, with its arches soaring 30 feet and its walls decorated with the most wonderful frescoes in the style of the 17th and 18th century Italian Masters, completes a unique dining experience. Read's, with the guidance of Marc Fosh from the start, has recently been awarded its first Michelin Star.

All rooms are an excellent size and have extraordinary views of the mountains, the gardens and the surrounding countryside.
Of the total of 23 rooms 14 have their own private terrace, one has three balconies. No two rooms are alike: all are individually styled and furnished to the very highest standard. Like the rooms, all bathrooms are spacious and have a double wash basin, an enormous bathtub, shower and bidet in addition to the basics. Some bathrooms are equipped with a Jacuzzi, eleven of which have a shower in addition to the bathtub. The toiletries are by Moulton Brown of London.

Señorial suite: 3, approx. 75 sqm, separate lounge, terrace approx. 15 sqm, TV in lounge and bedroom, DVD player.

Princess suite: 1, approx. 70 sqm, modern design, separate lounge, no terrace, flat screen television, DVD player, cd player with connected speakers in bathroom + lounge Jacuzzi bath and separate walk-in shower.

King suite: 1, approx. 70 sqm, private balcony of 12 sqm, flat screen television, DVD player, separate lounge, Jacuzzi bath and separate walk-in shower.

Sultan suite: 1, Morroccan design. approx. 100 sqm, private walled courtyard of 25 sqm with fountain, large separate lounge, flat screen TV in lounge and bedroom, DVD player. Bathroom with separate walk-in shower.

Dining: The Hotel boasts two restaurants both of which are open to non residents. Restaurant BACCHUS, awarded its first Michelin star in 2002 under the auspices of the Head Chef Marc Fosh situated in a stunning twelve metre arched room and the simpler but no less delicious Bistro33 which offers a daily changing menu. Both have summer terraces for outside dinning.

Facilities include: an indoor swimming pool(100 m2), an outdoor swimming pool(200 m2), an incredible 6 person Jacuzzi, a Klafs Sauna, a cardio-vascular fitness room, and a tanning solarium.Tennis rackets and balls, and bicycles are available. Various forms of treatment can be set up by appointment, such as beautician treatment, massage (aromatherapy, reflexology and fitness).

Special Events: banqueting facilities up to 85 persons. Private room for 20 persons. Three private meeting rooms with a maximum capacity of 25 are available for meetings, private luncheons or dinners. These rooms are ISDN equipped.

Children under the age of 12 cannot be accommodated.
