In the heart of the island Mallorcan countryside of Spain, just a 15 minute drive from Palma, Read's Hotel & Spa is a beautifully converted 16th century manor house with excellent spa and wellness facilities. The Vespasian Spa offers a full range of pampering treatments. With an excellent bistro, healthy menu options and a Chef's Table inside the kitchen, Read's Hotel & Spa also offers al fresco dining poolside in the summer months.

All rooms and suites are individually decorated with high quality furnishings, and all suites, with the exception of the princess suite, have their own private terraces. Owing to its sophisticated ambiance, Read's is unsuitable for children under 12 years of age.

The closest beach is a 25 minute drive away, and although car hire is recommended, it is not essential. Santa Maria train station is only 1.5km away with half hourly trains directly into Palma. A member of Relais & Chateaux.

All rooms are an excellent size and have extraordinary views of the mountains, the gardens and the surrounding countryside.
Of the total of 23 rooms 14 have their own private terrace, one has three balconies. No two rooms are alike: all are individually styled and furnished to the very highest standard. Like the rooms, all bathrooms are spacious and have a double wash basin, an enormous bathtub, shower and bidet in addition to the basics. Some bathrooms are equipped with a Jacuzzi, eleven of which have a shower in addition to the bathtub. Luxury toiletries are provided.

Junior suite: 2, approx. 50 sqm,terrace approx. 18 sqm. Integrated lounge area.
