Away from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech, on the road to the legendary Ourika Valley, is the hotel Jnane Leila. This wonderful boutique hotel is a reconstruction of a classic Berber village, just 7km beyond Marrakech.

Through a humble gate are 7 suites and 3 rooms located around a swimming pool and lush exotic gardens. The buildings have been constructed using traditional techniques and materials: laterite (baked clay mixed with hay), handmade bricks, uncovered beams, wrought iron and tadelakt (lime plastering). The interiors feature terracotta pottery, calligraphy, hand-woven rugs and fabrics.

The hotel Jnane Leila offers a beautiful and peaceful retreat in the stunning Moroccan landscapes beyond Marrakech, yet within easy reach of this fascinating city.
