For centuries, a discreet door opposite the gates to Marrakech's Royal Palace led to a wealthy merchant's home. Today, behind that door, with the help of celebrity architect Charles Boccara, two Riads have been transformed into this boutique hotel called Dar Les Cigognes. A Riad is a traditional Arab house, traditionally an interior world, which is built around a courtyard with fruit trees and a fountain.
Located in the heart of the old town of Marrakech (the medina) with parking and many of the important sites only a few steps away, it is an excellent base for exploring the city.

They are happy to serve guests drinks, afternoon tea, meals, and whatever else, wherever they wish throughout the riad. Room service is provided, and many guests like to take lunch in one of the many "bhous", at a table specially set up in one of the courtyards, or even on the roof terraces.
