Designed in 1903 by prominent Napa architect William Corlett, 1801 First has been meticulously transformed into an inviting chic retreat, blending it's stunning classic architecture with sophisticated styling and décor.

Ideally located in the historic town of Napa, the gateway to the world famous wine country, this upscale inn is situated just blocks from acclaimed restaurants, boutique shops, the Opera House and Copia, the exciting Center for Food, Wine and the Arts. Breakfast is served at 9.00 am. If you are taking a balloon ride or have an early appointment and will not be able to join them for breakfast, please let them know the night before. They can provide a "to-go" bagged breakfast.

Booking and cancellation policy

All costs, prices, and policies, including exchange rates and package deals, may change and should be confirmed with the hotel upon booking.

Reservations: A one night's room deposit charged at the time of booking secures a reservation. Room rates and amenities are guaranteed and not necessarily specific room assignments. They require a two or three night minimum stay on weekends, holidays and during the months of September and October.

Cancellations made prior to 10 days of arrival will have the deposit refunded less a $20.00 cancellation-processing fee per room, per night cancelled. Cancellations made within 10 days of arrival will forfeit the deposit. Early departures are responsible for the full reservation.

Check-in is between 3:00 and 6:30 pm. (Please inform them if you will need to arrive later and they will make arrangements for you.) Check-out is 11:00 am.

Rates: Include a full, three course gourmet breakfast each morning; evening wine and hors d'oeuvres and a courtesy 24-hour "mini-bar".

Rates are based on single or double occupancy. (Taxes not included.) Extra person charge is $50.00 per night, plus tax. Room rates are subject to availability and can change without prior notice. Please confirm rates directly with the hotel.
