This wonderful 300 year old rambling building overlooks the sea atop the north wall of 500-year-old San Juan. Guest have access to many interesting rooms filled with original paintings, silkscreens, terracotta reliefs and bronzes of all sizes. Guest also have acces to many beautiful spaces in the building, including interior courtyards, patios, porticos and gardens, punctuated by tropical flowering plants, trickling fountains and colorful exotic birds. At the Wine Deck enjoy a stunning sea view from the highest point in Old San Juan. They have a conference room, a banquet room and a music room with a nine-foot grand concert Steinway piano. They create art in seven working studios: painting, sculpture, mold making, cold casting, silk screening and a even a micro foundry for bronze casting.

They are only a short walking distance to forts, museums, galleries, boutiques and a fine selection of restaurants. The dining room serves special dinners, reservations are required in advance. Rooms include a Honeymoon suite with Jacuzzi and breathtaking views over the sea, suites filled with D'Esopo sculptures, paintings, oriental rugs, antique furniture and tropical plants.

The hotel offers 4 categories of rooms: Artist rooms, Colonial rooms with view to garden, patio or have a balcony, Vista rooms are more spacious with a terrace or balcony overlooking the sea, Topside suites are large and romantic with plant filled terrace and jacuzzi over looking the Atlantic. Bathrooms are all private and have recently been remodeled. Each room is different so let them know about any special request regarding accommodation such as no steps, no interior room, specific bed size, need for a second bed, price range, ocean view...they will choose a room that meets your requirements.
