Description: Hotel Signum

The small charming hotel Signum is set in a panoramic location a few minutes away from the sea, on the greenest island of the Aeolian Archipelago, Salina. Resting in the shadow of two volcanoes and surrounded by lemon trees and jasmine, this hotel is truly unique. Guests may enjoy breathtaking views of Panarea and the Stromboli eruptions. The elegant details and charm of Hotel Signum make each stay unforgettable.

The hotel is the result of a careful renovation of a historic Aeolian farming village. Relax during the day in the swimming pool or in the solarium terrace with its unbroken views of the surrounding area. Sample wonderful appetizers in a magical place transformed by the warm colours of the sunset. There are superb views from the restaurant terrace as well, where delicious dishes based on selected seasonal products are served. Chef Michele Caruso prepares typical Aeolian traditional dishes, sometimes with a personal twist while always maintaining the lightness of the Mediterranean kitchen.

The rooms, all different from each other, are located in small houses, some with a view from the terrace, others with a small pleasant balcony, or surrounded by a garden.
All are furnished with elegant and antique furniture, and have all the modern comforts.

The central position of the island will allow you to easily visit one of the "sister islands" in a very short trip by hydrofoil. The "Stromboli", the "Pomici" of Lipari or the "Ants" of Panarea are only some of the fascinating excursions possible. The excursions from Salina are not only by sea. The mount "Fossa of the Ferns" and the "Mount of the Porri" are two attractions which explore an amazing burst of vegetation and is a perfect trip for those nature-lovers who enjoy trekking in the mountains. The Signum offers their guests organized tours up to the mountains with specialized and trained guides. In addition to the various naturalistic activities that are offered, there are many sporting activities as well; tennis is available just a few kilometres from the hotel. There is also a diving centre in Salina.

Transfers from airport by arrangement at the additional cost of 122 Euro one way for 2 from catania airport to the island. First car/bus transfer and then the boat.
Small pets may be admitted by prior arrangement.
