The climate of Andalucia is one of Europe's warmest. The pleasant temperatures and the sunshine attract many visitors and warm the hearts of the inhabitants, giving them a happy, carefree, and hospitable character. The small luxury hotels we selected in Andalucia extend throughout the entire region, most of them in cities such as Seville, Granada and their surrounding areas.
The beaches along the coast have always been one of the main attractions of this region (Costa del Sol, Costa de Almeria, Costa de la Luz etc.), although recently there has also been more interest in the countryside, as reflected by our selection of small luxury hotels in the rural areas.
The Guadalquivir River Valley, the Tabernas dessert, the narrow peaks of the Sierra Nevada, or the Doñana National Park, are some of the beautiful and contrasting inland landscapes.
There are numerous historic sights and monuments because of the many cultures that have occupied this area throughout its long history. It's worth mentioning the Alhambra in Granada, the mosque in Cordoba, and the historic area and cathedral (la Giralda) of Seville.
Another great excuse to visit Andalucia is the traditional festivals. The April Fair (feria de Abril), the Rocío Pilgrimage in Huelva, and the Easter Week processions are just three of the many festivals that are celebrated throughout the region.
