Spain, after France, receives the most foreign tourists. Those who visit are especially drawn by the climate and the coasts. From the little coves of the Costa Brava, surrounded by pines and small cliffs, to the extensive beaches of Valencia and Andalucia, up to the dramatic Galician coast
to the idyllic island beaches, it is safe to say that there is something for everyone in terms of beaches.
But the coast is far from the only appeal: Spain has an outstanding cultural legacy, modern and historic cities, high mountains with Alpine climate, and fourteen nature preserves. It's worth mentioning that Spain, like Italy, has many UNESCO world heritage sites, adding up to a total of 41. And let's not forget the rich and varied cuisine - currently enjoying a rise in popularity with tapas (appetizers), nor the lively folk festivals such as the famous Running of the Bulls in Pamplona for the San Fermin celebration.
