This old finca dating from 1672, with its beautiful patio and well, has been restored several times to date, the final restoration ending in June 1998. Natural stone flagged floors and ancient rustic beams are combined with the elegance and traditional interior designed public areas and guestrooms. Not to forget, of course, the impressive centenary oil press which makes a gourmet restaurant, L´Orangerie.
Gran Hotel Son Net is located on a small hill overlooking the Mallorcan village of Puigpunyent. In the middle of the Tramuntana mountain range at the foot of the beautiful Galatzó mountain, Gran Hotel Son Net enjoys a unique position in the southwest corner of Mallorca. In the evening, the sunset illuminates the Galatzó mountain with a dazzling range of different colours and shades.
Puigpunyent village is only a five-minute walk away and Palma de Mallorca, the island´s beautiful capital, a fifteen-minute drive. There are large selections of splendid beaches, magnificant golf courses, architectural and historical sites within a 30 minutes range of the hotel. Puigpunyent itself is one of the few Mallorcan villages on the island untouched by tourism. Its authenticity has been carefully maintained.

Guests can choose between different room categories: there are four Studio rooms on the ground floor, six Superior rooms on the first floor and five Deluxe rooms on the second floor, overlooking the village and the swimming pool.
The two Gran Suites have an exclusive location in two corners of the finca, with large windows and huge living rooms with superb views over the magnificent countryside, the third Suite is the Casita which is on the outer part of the house and has a private garden and swiming pool.
The four spacious Royal Suites have private terraces or gardens, beautiful views, huge luxurious marble bathrooms, walk-in showers, jacuzzis and much more. The Royal Suites is between 130 to 150m2, and between 100 to 120 m2 for the Gran Suites.
All rooms feature the luxurious standards of a five star hotel. They are individually decorated, comfortably and elegantly equipped, each room in a different colour combination. Comfortable beds, spacious wardrobes, big marble bath-rooms with a floor radiator, a radiator for towles, big mirrors, heating, minibar, telephone.
