This hotel is located in a 1940´s train station northeast of Teruel in the Matarraña district near the Mediterranean.

In 1998 Pilar Vilés and José Mª Naranjo completed a bold and avant-garde renovation transforming the station into a unique and cosy hotel in the country. There were two main design concepts, first the fusion of the industrial and the contemporary in the common spaces, such as the old storage area made in two levels, the vestibule, the reception area, the restaurant on the ground floor and a great living room loft in the upper part of the building. Second, a travelling theme has been carried out throughout the bedrooms. Through the carefully placed unique decorative details, each room strives to stimulate travel to other places and other worlds.

The hotel is surrounded by native plant gardens reaching down to the riverbank on several terraces, forming an extensive and well-balanced combination open to the natural landscape. The pool, located in a sunny and shady area, has some of the best views of the area.
