The Park Street Hotel, a rare example of its kind of architecture, is a 250 year old colonial bungalow with adjoining stores and warehouses. Once the home of a colourful and eccentric couple who were members of the local elite, The Park Street Hotel is now a charming, friendly 12-room boutique hotel.

The Park Street Hotel was refurbished by famous Sri Lankan designer Nayantara (Taru) Fonseka, and is conveniently located about 30 km from the airport and is a great base for exploring the island, shopping, or absorbing some of the distinct urban culture.

The 10 deluxe rooms are located in the converted warehouse and are very spacious with high ceilings and windows that look out to a garden terrace. An open plan layout encompasses separate areas for living, sleeping, dining, and dressing. The paintings are all one-off originals by one of the country's leading modern artists.
The 2 suites are in the refurbished old house. In typical grand colonial style, they feature beautiful antique furniture and all modern amenities and luxuries.
The main Begum Suite has its own large terrace and garden for private functions.
