Most of the inn's bedrooms have working, wood burning fireplaces that are set up by staff on a daily basis. Most rooms also have canopied beds; some have furnished balconies, private exterior entrances with private porches, two person whirlpools or private, in room, 300 gallon hot tubs.
For absolute privacy, there is even a stunning private cottage complete with its own garage, two person whirlpool, fireplace and large covered porch with two person hammock.

All room prices include full country breakfast in the dining room or breakfast in bed, afternoon tea and pastries, evening turndown service and the New York Times at your door every morning. All rooms are air conditioned and have phone, color cable TV, VCR, hair dryers, irons, full sized ironing boards and deluxe, custom made bathrobes.
Children: The inn is not appropriate for children. Thorncroft Inn is a honeymoon, anniversary and romantic getaway destination for couples. Maximum occupancy for each room is two people, even if the third person is a child. All rooms have one bed per room and there are no cots or rollaway beds.

Booking and cancellation policy
To secure a booking a deposit of 50% for reservations of four or more nights. Full payment in advance is required for reservations of one, two or three nights. Deposit payable only by credit card at the time of booking. Balance due at check-in.
Cancellations: For deposit refund, cancellations must be made at least 30 full days prior to scheduled arrival date. Cancellations received within 30 days booking, a deposit refund will be made to the extent the accommodations can be rented again over the entire reserved period. (Deposit applies to first and last days of reserved period) Deposit forfeited for late arrival or early departure, unless accommodations can be rented again. A 5% cancellation fee is deducted from any refunds.
A 5% fee will apply to any guest charges, which are transferred from one credit card to another, at any time after the initial deposit has been charged. This applies even if the credit cards are in the same name. This is due to a change of policy with credit card companies on refunds.
Rates based per night double occupancy.
Subject to 5.7% state and 4% local occupancy taxes; gratuities at each guest's discretion.
Arrival: Check-in time is after 3pm. and before 9pm. Arrangements must be made for arrivals after 9pm. Check-out time is 11am.
