The Pitcher Inn is located in the picturesque village of Warren Vermont. Situated along the Mad River, it was built on the site of the famed "Pitcher Inn," originally built in the 1700's.

It is home to one of Vermont's finest wine cellars which holds 6500 bottles. There is also a private dining table in the wine cellar for an intimate dinner. Dining at The Pitcher Inn is an experience not to be missed. The menus offer seasonally inspired, contemporary American cuisine, emphasizing fresh, simple preparation, healthy cooking techniques and utilizing organic, locally grown foods. Afternoon tea is served daily in the library.

The Mad River Valley is the heart of central Vermont and one of the State's hidden treasures. There are certain aspects of the area that have remained untouched since the 1700's, and others have seen the hands of modernization. The 1940's brought ski-related development to the area and created some of Vermont's best skiing at Sugarbush and Mad River Glen. Warren and Waitsfield are two towns where travelers can experience the simple, country charm that exemplifies Vermont.
